itle: Quantum mechanics as source code

Abstract:Quantum information science has taught us that information is physical. This talk takes the opposite route („physics is informational“) and presents the core concepts of quantum mechanics in terms of information and programming (Q# snippets). We’ll shed light on the surprising connection between quantum mechanics and information, explained in a language that is familiar to people with an IT background. The target audience is anybody who enjoys programming and would like to get introduced to quantum mechanics from an IT perspective. No previous exposure to Q# is needed to follow the talk.
